Being an online gem or jewelry dealer requires that you give an accurate presentation of the merchandise to the customer. While this may sound simple enough, it is actually quite difficult to capture the brilliance and fire within even the most lively of gems. At Embassy Emeralds we take the photography and written descriptions of our emeralds very seriously. We strive to take the most representative photographs of our stones possible. But we donít stop there. With each emerald we put on our site, we will attempt in words to provide the customer with the most accurate description possible in order to give the 'complete picture'.
Our customers are generally pleasantly
surprised to find that the stone they purchased is even
more attractive in person when it arrives and they see it
with their own eyes. And once mounted, without fail, the
stone will always look even better still. Not just because
there may be diamonds and gold next to it, but because the
stone's setting and its lack of transparency tends
to serve as a color deepening backdrop for the stone.
Some emeralds are shown photographed under
different lighting conditions. With these images, we are
attempting to show you aspects of color and depth that may
be less apparent in direct light. After all, unless you're
a Hollywood actress, you probably don't have a spotlight
on you and your jewelry at all times.
For our customers who may have slow internet
connections, we reduce the file size of our product photos
by eliminating the image background or portions of the background.
The picture of the actual product itself will not be altered.
