Oval Cut

Oval cut gemstones, simliar to their round cut cousins, are round when viewed from above, though slightly oblong on one side. Though perhaps not as popular as the emerald cut, an oval cut emerald makes an equally excellent centerpiece in a ring, and are often seen in earrings as well.
