Carolina Prince

The Carolina Prince is a 7.85 carat Oval Cut emerald cut along with the Carolina Queen from a larger 71 carat crystal obtained from the North American Emerald Mine outside Hiddenite, North Carolina in 1998. The stone was sold over a year later for more than US$500,000 to an private buyer. It has been set in a 18 karat gold ring surrounded by 26 round brilliant diamonds.

The Carolina Prince is one of several rough cut and finished emeralds that make up the Carolina Royal Family.
